PogrAI Development Roadmap
Version 1.0.0 – Basic Functionality and First Publication
At this stage, the universal game model is fully defined and a technology for implementing the engine core is selected. Minimal capabilities are implemented to play a basic game template. The application is published on Google Play Market, with all resources manually added to the package, and a built-in tic-tac-toe game model is created manually.
Version 1.0.1 – Model Integration and Account Support
This phase involves selecting the best-performing open model and deploying it on one of the providers. Integration with the model’s API is implemented, along with the creation of a chat screen for interacting with the model and viewing changes in the game model (initially in JSON format). Basic screens for login, logout, account settings, registration, and password recovery are developed, and authentication support is implemented. The application is also published on Microsoft Store.
Version 1.0.2 – Multiplayer and Web Presence
Multiplayer game mode is introduced, enabling online play. In parallel, the server-side logic for a future store of published games and resources is developed. A website (pograi.com) is launched featuring a web version of the platform and essential additional pages.
Version 1.0.3 – Interface Expansion and Marketplace
The platform receives a comprehensive main game selection window and an integrated marketplace screen, where placeholders displaying "In Development" replace game banners. The application is published on the App Store. We are creating a roadmap for games spanning many future versions, outlining the logic that should be implemented in the GameEngine and AIGeneration, and grouping games based on this logic.
Version 1.0.4 – Resource Base Expansion
At this stage, the application is published on the Mac App Store, and a screen for adding and managing the resource library is introduced, ensuring convenient content management and updates.
Version 1.0.5 – Linux Support and AI Game Generation
The application is released on Flathub (Linux) and integrates the capability to generate several games using AI based on the tic-tac-toe template, showcasing the potential of automated content generation.
Monetization Integration (Subsequent Versions)
In parallel with further functional development, monetization elements are gradually integrated:
- Implementation of platform-specific purchase screens for the extended version of the application.
- Introduction of logic to support user-published games and the purchase of our paid games.
- Gradual rollout of additional paid features, such as premium accounts, subscriptions for increased content generation, and exclusive resources.
Further Development
In subsequent versions, new functional capabilities will be implemented according to the overall roadmap:
- Development of help screens, feedback screens, a universal multi-level game model preview widget, and support for localizations.
- Expansion of the game engine’s functionality and improvement of AI: supporting various 2D game mechanics and genres, with regular updates to generation algorithms.
- Introduction of an expert mode in the editor for advanced users to fine-tune every aspect of the game universe.
- Development of an AI-based resource generator capable of producing graphics, animations, sounds, music, and other elements.
- Implementation of voice control to enable more intuitive platform interaction.
- Deployment of an interactive AI-powered assistance system that serves as a personal guide for users throughout the development process.
